August 15, 1997-- Negley, Ott & Associates, represented by Cary Negley and Sally Carr, presented at the MedTech 1997 conference in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. The theme of the conference, sponsored by The Health Affairs Committee of ADPA/NSIA, was Medical Technologies & Programs: A Forecast for the Future. The conference spanned three days and covered opportunities and impediments to enhancing health care in the 21st century. Cary & Sally's presentation, titled And the Band Played On: Continuing Patient Care After Your CPR Crashes, outlined the need for downtime and disaster recovery planning, pros and cons of common solutions and discussed specific, best-demonstrated practices at several institutions.
