December 2001

• Message from NOA's President, Cary Negley

• Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg, MS, purchased NOA's Computer Based Training (CBT) system to facilitate in standardizing and certifying all staff using the UltiCare^® / Patient1^® / Vista^® / Misys CPR^™/ Misys CPOE^™ system.  The scope of applications to be trained on includes staff nursing, unit clerks and physician order entry.

• Rod Walker presented on HIPAA and Privacy Program Development at the Medical Record's Institute (TEPR) in Baltimore, MD.

November 2001

• NOA deployed inpatient pharmacy and physician medication order entry on UltiCare^® / Patient1^® (Misys CPR^™/ Misys CPOE^™) at Woodhull Medical Center, NYC.

• NOA deployed the Outpatient Breast Clinic at Coney Island Hospital, NYC.

• Rod Walker presented on HIPAA and Privacy Program Development to Mississippi's Medical Group Management Association.

October 2001

• NOA and Per-Se' Technologies, Inc.(former owner of Misys CPR^™ / Misys CPOE^™) entered into an agreement to incorporate Per-Se's product information for UltiCare^® / Patient1^® / Vista^® / Misys CPR^™ / Misys CPOE^™ products into NOA's Computer Based Training (CBT) product.

• Rod Walker presented on HIPAA and Compliance Workplan Development and Management for the Governor's Task Force on HIPAA in Mississippi.

July 2001

• NOA deployed the Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic at Coney Island Hospital, NYC.

June 2001

• NOA deployed the Outpatient Ophthalmology Clinic and Non-invasive Cardiology Clinic at Coney Island Hospital, NYC.
