NOA consultant provides on site technical expertise support for a successful implementation of clinical documentation with Knowledge-Based Charting™ on Eclipsys' Sunrise Acute Care™ CPR system

July 2008One of NOA’s senior nursing consultants finished a project in June whereby they provided technical product expertise and configuration support for deployment of KBC version 2.0 in conjunction with clinical documentation at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The scope of implementation support provided by NOA at St. Clair focuses on supporting Nursing Clinical documentation in conjunction with Knowledge-based Charting™.

NOA is excited about this announcement since it represents another successful outcome from leveraging NOA’s best demonstrated practices approach for deploying Clinical Documentation modules with KBC on the Sunrise Acute Care CPR solution.

Congratulations to the NOA consulting team for success on this project and for being selected to provide support under a sub-contracting agreement between NOA and Eclipsys.

About Negley, Ott & Associates, Inc.
NOA was formed in 1992 by IS professionals with a desire to provide hospital information system and clinical professionals with best demonstrated practices in conjunction with implementing clinical software systems that focus on patient care.  The issues, personalities, opportunities, challenges and solutions required by clinical system implementations require the ability to meld sensitivity to clinical processes with the realities of computing and patient care delivery.  To date, NOA has provided services to over 60 hospitals installing clinical systems using an approach that stresses both outcomes and knowledge transfer. Supporting so many users, both during and after their installation, gives NOA the opportunity to understand the issues that make clinical systems work, and those that don't.
