NOA consultants selected to provide activation support of Eclipsys Sunrise Acute Care™ and Sunrise Pharmacy™ implementations at UAMS

May 2008NOA’s Andrea Walker, RN, Kevin Rogers, RN, Jeanie Eckmann, MT (ASCP), Brenda Rollins, Abraham Gilbert and Rod Walker of NEGLEY of OTT & ASSOCIATES, INC. were selected by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas (UAMS) to provide staff augmentation via activation support during the recent implementation for Eclipsys Sunrise Acute Care™ and Sunrise Pharmacy™ at UAMS.

Subsequent to achieving advanced configuration certification from Eclipsys Corporation on the Sunrise Acute Care CPR system, NOA has been engaged to participate in multiple activations as consultant resources.  UAMS activation included orders / results and pharmacy applications on a pilot unit and then escalated deployment to the entire organization thereafter in a big-bang approach, which was a huge success.

Congratulations to UAMS and Eclipsys for a successful activation and continued success at demonstrating quality of care through leveraging advanced clinical integration of information via automation with a CPR system.

“The staff augmentation engagement at UAMS is an example of how NOA’s product expertise and best-demonstrated-practices approach can be leveraged for the benefit of customers and ultimately for the benefit of patients receiving care. UAMS did an outstanding job preparing for this event and their success is largely due to the forethought and thoroughness of I.T. leadership in getting ready for such a significant implementation.”

said Rod Walker, NOA Partner & COO.
