May 2008NOA’s senior nursing consultants finished a project in May whereby they provided remote product expertise and configuration support for a conversion upgrade from the E7000 Heritage clinical system to Sunrise Clinical Manager which involved the clinical care system utilized at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The scope of implementation support provided by NOA at St. Clair focuses on supporting Nursing Clinical documentation in conjunction with Sunrise Knowledge-based Charting which encompassed the following:

  • Site specific modifications to KBC Profiles and Flowsheets

  • Configuration of site specific structured notes

  • Unit testing and documentation of configuration changes

  • Knowledge transfer support of project team members with configuration issues involving clinical documentation with prose writer and use of discriminate observations in a QA set

NOA is excited about this announcement since it represents another successful outcome from leveraging NOA’s best demonstrated practices approach for deploying Clinical Documentation modules with KBC on the Sunrise™ Acute Care CPR solution..
