NOA consultants approved for
providing ongoing on-site support of Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Manager™
EMR system at Cancer Treatment Centers of America |

During October and November 2008
NOA’s Kevin Rogers, RN continued
providing both on-site and remote technical configuration support to
Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA).
This initiative started out as a staff augmentation engagement where
Kevin was focusing solely on order set configuration. Over the
duration of the engagement his role has expanded into many facets of the
project in order to enable other members of the CTCA project team to
prioritize working on other projects. Kevin has fulfilled a
multitude of technical support roles encompassing the following scope:

Design and configuration of Order Sets
-
Technical Help Desk Support
-
Clinical Documentation Support
-
Co-chairing Project Work Groups
Subsequent to providing support on order sets during
earlier phases of the engagement, Kevin is now focusing on clinical
documentation configuration. In November he assisted in the
development (configuration ) of a new structured note as just one
example of what this engagement has expanded into. This new note
is specifically for History and Physical related documentation and
intended initially for the WRMC site location. The structured note
is substantial in content and complexity and it includes multiple
observations, prose writer sets and QA Sets. This project
engagement is yet another example of how NOA’s consultants are able to
provide multi-module solutions for our customers with flexibility on how
to best utilize our staff augmentation resources.

CPR systems and is rapidly moving forward towards aligning with Eclipsys
Corporation, (NASDAQ: ECLP) as a business partner for implementation
consulting and support with the Sunrise Clinical Manager product line.
The business partner agreement between NOA and Eclipsys represents a
strategic initiative which will leverage NOA’s clinical system expertise
in improving care delivery workflow processes by using best demonstrated
practices.
