NOA provides staff augmentation & project management consulting support at Pascack Valley Hospital

June 2006Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood, NJ recently brought live the Misys-CPR™ / Misys-CPOE™ system with the support of NEGLEY, OTT & ASSOCIATES, INC. (NOA).  Back in November 2005, NOA was selected by the hospital to provide best demonstrated practices support to the project via project management consulting.  NOA’s Anna May Petronella, RN, and Donna Welsh, RT, both participated in this initiative as clinical system consultants for project management support and were integral resources in the overall project team.

Prior to the go live, NOA’s Pelvia Woods, RN, provided on-site nursing application training.  During the system activation in June, NOA’s clinical consultants also provided staff augmentation support.  Staff augmentation was provided by NOA’s Anna May Petronella, RN, Donna Welsh, Judith Purvis, MT (ASCP), Jeanie Eckmann, MT(ASCP) and Cary Negley.  This successful deployment by PVH is another success story for both NOA and another customer site which made a strategic decision to seek out a consulting company with both Misys-CPR™ product expertise as well as best demonstrated practices experience.

Congratulations to the Pascack Valley Hospital for their commitment to demonstrate quality and excellence towards community health by using the Misys-CPR™ / Misys-CPOE™ system as an integrated electronic health record!

About Negley, Ott & Associates, Inc.
NOA was formed in 1992 by IS professionals with a desire to provide hospital information system and clinical professionals with best demonstrated practices in conjunction with implementing clinical software systems that focus on patient care.  The issues, personalities, opportunities, challenges and solutions required by clinical system implementations require the ability to meld sensitivity to clinical processes with the realities of computing and patient care delivery.  To date, NOA has provided services to over 60 hospitals installing clinical systems using an approach that stresses both outcomes and knowledge transfer.  Supporting so many users, both during and after their installation, gives NOA the opportunity to understand the issues that make clinical systems work, and those that don't.
