June
2006:
The Jewish Home and Hospital
Lifecare System in New York City, NY recently selected
Negley, Ott & Associates, Inc. (NOA)
to provide expertise consulting support for de-installation of the
hospital's clinical care system.
Once a hospital successfully deploys an electronic
clinical care system, one of the most difficult things to do is to
subsequently shut down a paperless process due to multiple work-flow related
dependencies on that process. Due to NOA’s expertise with multiple
vendor products, we were selected by JHH to support a de-installation
project. This is a highly complex initiative, and NOA’s Cary Negley
will be the primary consultant supporting JHH on the initiative. The
scope of NOA’s involvement thus far has been to support moving the existing
electronic clinical data out of a proprietary (vendor) database and migrate
it to an open database design for subsequent query access by the hospital.
NOA has a long-standing strategic relationship with
JHH and is pleased to be selected for helping with this initiative.
This announcement represents another successful strategic decision by The
Jewish Home and Hospital Lifecare System to
leverage NOA’s best demonstrated practices approach to electronic clinical
care systems.
