NOA Supports Eclipsys™ Sunrise™ CPR System implementation for Clinical Documentation and Knowledge-Based Charting

May 2005 – NOA’s Pelvia Woods, RN of NEGLEY, OTT & ASSOCIATES, INC. was selected to begin providing clinical system consulting and implementation support in May 2005 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-New Brunswick, NJ (RWJ). This engagement was specifically for supporting efforts to deploy the Clinical Documentation and Knowledge-Based Charting™ capabilities of the Eclipsys Sunrise advanced clinically based information system.

NOA was engaged to participate in the project as a sub-contracting consultant resource under Eclipsys Corporation®. The primary scope of NOA’s consulting engagement was as follows:

  • Analysis and design of targeted clinical documentation activities

  • Implementation of the Clinical Documentation/Knowledge Based Charting module(s) to include setup, configuration and testing

NEGLEY, OTT & ASSOCIATES, INC. is a clinical systems consulting company with certification on multiple CPR systems and is rapidly moving forward towards aligning with the Eclipsys Corporation, (NASDAQ: ECLP), as a business partner for implementation consulting and support with the Sunrise clinical system product line. The business partner agreement between NOA and Eclipsys represents a strategic initiative which will leverage NOA’s clinical system expertise in improving care delivery workflow processes by using best demonstrated practices.
