NOA Consultant Approved for Education and Training Role with Eclipsys' Sunrise CPR System

February 2005 – During the month of February, NOA’s Jeanie Eckmann, MT (ASCP) received approval to provide education and training for the Sunrise™ Clinical Manager XA™ CPR system to customers of Eclipsys. In order to be selected for this challenging role, Jeanie had to demonstrate advanced skills on the system through certification examinations as well as evaluations of her education and presentation skills while co-teaching the configuration classes. Jeanie is now authorized to provide training of the XA2020 Config-1 classes for Eclipsys at both the corporate offices of Eclipsys as well as at customer sites.

Jeanie is a senior clinical consultant with Negley, Ott & Associates, Inc. (NOA). NOA is excited about this opportunity to expand upon our growing scope of support and services we are able to provide Eclipsys and their customers. This new venture further demonstrates the positive arrangement between NOA and Eclipsys which will benefit the customer base as a result of the sub-contracting agreement between NOA and Eclipsys.

NEGLEY, OTT & ASSOCIATES, INC. is a clinical systems consulting company with certification on multiple CPR systems and is rapidly moving forward towards aligning with the Eclipsys Corporation, (NASDAQ: ECLP), as a business partner for implementation consulting and support with the Sunrise clinical system product line. About Negley, Ott & Associates, Inc.
NOA was formed in 1992 by IS professionals with a desire to provide hospital information system and clinical professionals with best demonstrated practices in conjunction with implementing clinical software systems that focus on patient care.  The issues, personalities, opportunities, challenges and solutions required by clinical system implementations require the ability to meld sensitivity to clinical processes with the realities of computing and patient care delivery.  To date, NOA has provided services to over 40 hospitals installing clinical systems using an approach that stresses both outcomes and knowledge transfer. Supporting so many users, both during and after their installation, gives NOA the opportunity to understand the issues that make clinical systems work, and those that don't.
