NOA Supports Eclipsys SunriseXA CPR System Activation at Johns Hopkins Hospital
June, 2004 – NOA’s Cynthia Herold, MT (ASCP) and Rod Walker, FACHE, FHFMA, of NEGLEY, OTT & ASSOCIATES, INC. participated in supporting a go-live activation for the Eclipsys SunriseXA CPR system at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. 

Subsequent to achieving advanced configuration certification from Eclipsys Corporation on the SunriseXA CPR system, NOA was engaged to participate in the go-live support as a sub-contracting consultant resource under the Eclipsys Corporation.  The primary scope of the go-live activation was for installing a newer release version of the CPR system which included an automated medication administration module.  The activation encompassed multiple inpatient care units. Congratulations to Johns Hopkins and Eclipsys for a successful activation and continued success at demonstrating quality of care through leveraging advanced clinical integration of information via automation with a CPR system.
