M. D. ANDERSON CANCER CENTER
During the month
of September 2003, NOA’s consultant staff (Rod
Walker and Kelly Herold) supported M. D. Anderson’s
implementation efforts for the Misys CPR™ / Misys CPOE™
(formerly Patient1® - Vista) system by conducting data conversion validation
for the anatomic pathology lab. During the conversion data validation,
NOA was able to pinpoint key aspects of the conversion which could be
improved upon in order to achieve greater success upon the eventual go-live
on the new system. The data validation was a very successful effort and
demonstrates M. D. Anderson’s continued commitment to quality patient care
by using the Misys-CPOE™ / Misys-CPR™ integrated
electronic health record.
