In April 2003, NOA’s Pelvia Woods,
RN, began participating in the deployment of
Ulticare® / Patient1® /
Vista / Misys CPR™ / Misys CPOE™ (Vista) at
Kings County Hospital, which is one of the
facilities of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (NYCHHC).
NOA is participating as a member of the implementation team under Per-Se
Technologies, Inc. (former owner of
Ulticare® / Patient1® /
Vista / Misys CPR™ / Misys CPOE™). The implementation is targeted for all
nursing units and clinics, including 13 offsite clinics as well as a rehab
facility. The deployment of Vista is another example of how NYCHHC continues
to demonstrate quality and excellence towards community health by using the
Patient1 integrated electronic health record.
