October 2003:

The Jewish Home and Hospital Lifecare System in New York City, NY recently announced that they have selected Negley, Ott & Associates, Inc. (NOA) to provide consulting and project management services on their Misys-CPR / Misys-CPOE (formerly: Patient1®) system implementation.

The project management support will be primarily provided by Donna Welsh, RT who has over 21 years of clinical experience, 14 of which were with the Patient1® / Misys-CPR / Misys-CPOE system. This announcement represents a strategic decision by The Jewish Home and Hospital Lifecare System.

According to Kris Cerchiara, CIO at JHH,

We are at a critical point in the Patient1 implementation as we are fine tuning Patient1 and our processes prior to rolling over the database to begin work at the Manhattan and Sarah Neuman campuses. Rather than fill the project management role with someone from the outside with no knowledge of Patient1 or our environment, I believe that we'd be better served by drawing on the success we've had in working with NOA in the past.”

Congratulations to the Jewish Home and Hospital Lifecare System for continuing to demonstrate quality and excellence towards community health by using the Misys-CPR / Misys-CPOE (Patient1®) system as an integrated electronic health record!
