In July 2003, NOA’s Joe Barone, MT(ASCP), began participating in the deployment of Patient1^® (Misys CPR^™ / Misys CPOE^™) at Coney Island Hospital, which is one of the facilities of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (NYCHHC).  NOA is participating as a member of the implementation team under Per-Se Technologies, Inc. (former owner of CPR^™ / Misys CPOE^™).  The implementation of Patient1^® / Misys CPR^™ / Misys CPOE^™ is targeted for numerous inpatient and outpatient areas of the hospital. 

This deployment is another example of how NYCHHC continues to demonstrate quality and excellence towards community health by using the Patient1^® / Misys CPR^™ / Misys CPOE^™ integrated electronic health record.
