Our Mission: |
To Provide targeted clinical computing services to our clients in the healthcare industry, focusing on achieving defined benefits from clinical information system acquisition using a best-demonstrated practices approach. Negley, Ott & Associates, Incorporated (NOA) is dedicated to quality outcomes and customer satisfaction. |
|
Our History: |
NOA was formed in 1992 by IS professionals with a desire to provide hospital information system and clinical professionals with an alternative to reliance on vendors and consulting firms with general skills for professional and technical support when implementing systems with a clinical or patient care focus. The issues, personalities, opportunities, challenges and solutions required by clinical system implementations require the ability to meld sensitivity to clinical processes with the realities of computing and patient care delivery. To date, NOA has provided services to 60+ hospitals installing clinical systems using an approach that stresses both outcomes and knowledge transfer. Supporting so many users, both during and after their installation, gives NOA the opportunity to understand the issues that make clinical systems work, and those that don't. |

Our Founders and Partners |

A founding partner of NOA is Cary D. Negley.
Mr. Negley began working with Health Data Sciences (HDS) when the company was in its infancy and became its first project manager. Upon leaving the firm, he had installed the UltiCare® (predecessor of Patient1® and Misys CPR™/CPOE™) product in more hospitals and departments than any current or former HDS employee. Mr. Negley left HDS after eight years as their Senior Project Manager and became a manager with First Consulting Group prior to forming NOA.
